User Manual for Onboarding to the Open Source Seller Center (OSSC)
Welcome to the Open Source Seller Center (OSSC). This guide will help you set up your seller account step by step. Follow the instructions below to get started.
When using a demo instance of OSSC, please do not use real personal or business data. Always use mock data for testing and familiarization purposes.
Step 1: Access the OSSC Portal
- Open your browser and go to https://demo.ossc.tech/seller/login.
- If OSSC is installed locally, use your local domain instead, e.g. http://localhost:8000/seller/login.
Step 2: Sign Up for an Account
- On the login page, click on "Sign up for an account".
- You will be redirected to the registration form.
Step 3: Fill Out the Registration Form
- Complete the registration form by entering the following details:
- Name: Your full name.
- Email Address: A valid email address that you have access to.
- Password: Choose a secure password.
- Confirm Password: Re-enter the password for confirmation.
- Once you’ve filled out the form, click on the "Sign up" button.
Step 4: Set Up Your Seller Account
- After successfully signing up, you will be prompted to register your seller account.
- On the "Register Seller" page, enter a name for your seller account in the provided field.
- Click on the "Register Seller" button to complete the setup.
Step 5: Complete Onboarding in the App
After registering your seller account, you need to complete the onboarding process by providing detailed information about your business. Follow these steps:
Navigate to the "My Data" Section
- Log in to your seller account.
- In the app, go to Settings > My Data from the left-hand menu.
Fill Out the Seller Data Form

Basic Information
- Enter your Primary Contact Email and Phone number.

Company Information
- Fill in your Company Name and provide a Business Description that explains your products or services.

Address Information
- Provide the Street Address, City, State/Province/Region, Postal Code, and Country of your registered business.

Tax Information
- Enter at least one of the following:
- VAT Number
- Tax ID Number
- EORI Number (if applicable)
- Enter at least one of the following:

Banking Information for payouts
- Enter your IBAN, SWIFT/BIC, Bank Name, and the Account Holder Name.

Legal Documents
- Upload the required documents:
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Trade Registry Extract
- Any Additional Documentation relevant to your business.

Save Your Information
- Review the information you’ve entered to ensure accuracy.
- Click the Save button to complete the onboarding process.
Step 6: Submit Your Application for Review
After saving your seller data, the final step of onboarding is to submit your application for approval. Follow these steps:
Submit Your Application
- Once you save the form, a "Submit Application" button will appear at the top right of the page.
- Click on "Submit Application" to send your information for review.
Marketplace Owner Review
- After submitting your application, the marketplace owner will be notified.
- The marketplace owner will review your application and verify the provided details, including legal documents and business information.
What’s Next?
- Approval Process: If your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation, and your seller account will be fully activated. You can then start adding products and managing orders.
- Follow-Up: If additional information is required, the marketplace owner may contact you.
